Soliloquy

I made a set of 4 characters that are part of my conceptualised game world inspired by the Silent Hill franchise. 

In the roaring 1920s, the era of Flappers, Jazz, and organised crime, a sultry jazz singer, Esther, rides the highs of performance and the lows of addiction. She is pulled into crushing debt with a ruthless gang, and her manipulative director exploits her while skimming her earnings. When she becomes pregnant, her child is taken as payment, another piece of her stolen. Her voice, once velvet-smooth, frays under exhaustion, and unable to repay what she owes, the gang ensures she never performs again by shattering her legs. Forced into survival, Esther fights and succumbs to the hard years and gave in to the pressures and took control of the system, rebuilding herself over the years to become a brothel madam. A decade passes, she discovers one of her new workers is the daughter she lost. Consumed by guilt and grief, Esther is forced to face her biggest regrets and fight the monsters her mind created.
